When preserving flowers, it is important to make sure that the flower is dry. You don't want your beautiful craft to rot over time. When preserving the flowers in resin you will make sure your resin is mixed as the directions state. Add some of your resin to your mold and allow it to harden. Then place your flower where you want it in your mold and use a needle or toothpick to hold it in place. You have to have something to hold your flower down or it will begin to rise to the surface. Add your topcoat of resin and before it dries completely remove your needle and or toothpick. Your resin will settle, and you will be left with a beautiful piece of art.
